Description
This vintage postcard showcases a charming, light-colored downtown Dallas street scene bustling with cars and pedestrians circa the 1950s. The view, looking west on Commerce Street, is beautifully rendered in blues and whites. Leonard Raef’s color work captures the lively atmosphere of this American city, as evidenced by the visible “American Savings Loan Association” sign.

Hi Folks; How is my little boy? Glad and letter came.
Said he had been here about 8 or 10 days.
I'm really missing him. My truest!
Your children are so cute. Such a look. Mrs. & Mr. N.W. Maultsby sends their regards.
See you before too much longer.
