Dear Mother, Apr 17, 1908
Well, here I am in Moline. Got here about six o'clock last evening. Lida says, "Tell Aunt Em I haven't got over the shock yet." They were more than surprised. Aunt Em had told them about it, and they knew it was by the R.R.
They Mrs. C. M. Reed. Franklin, Racine, Wis. R.R. #3, Box 17. They knew it was by the R.R. They wondered what lady he had with him.
Lovingly, Georgie.
