Dear Sispy,
I arrived in Winston-Salem tomorrow. I wish you were with us. Will go to Hendersonville about nine. Are you staying at Robert E. Lee? It was a full storm. The country had been so beautiful. Tobacco is around all the way. I'll be sure you are posted on all. The bright leaf is very pretty.
