Description
Hotel Cherry in Wilson, North Carolina, a majestic red brick building with white trim, offers a comfortable stay. A postcard reveals a trip where the car “runs like a dream,” and an “egg diet” in Akron, Ohio, added to the adventure. This charming postcard from the 1930s (given the style of writing, stamp and postmark) captures a memorable road trip.

Hello to all:
This is where we spent the night. We have made very good time. The car runs like a dream. Jas had a fine litter. R.H. #1. During the day we got stuck on an egg diet in Akron, Ohio. Albert & I are tired, though; 2 hrs after dark he gets too tired. How goes the house? Love to all from Mistic & Albert.
