Description
A small black-and-white scenic view appears on the left, showing a large tree beside calm water or a pond. The right side features a bright orange flag with the words Washington D. C. and the greeting Friendly Greetings from above it. A short verse is printed below the flag, and the overall design has a simple souvenir-card look. The card is postmarked 1922.
Front Text (verbatim):

from
WASHINGTON
D. C.
Perhaps you think the world is sad,
And very cold and grim and bad,
Because your “specs” are gray or blue,
And make the world look that way, too.
