An early American Inn serving old-fashioned New
England food and drink attracts travelers and
gourmets – not occasionally, but often. Pine panel-
ing, dark beams, collections of silver and pewter,
and old prints appropriately depict silversmithing
for which the area is famous. Five private rooms
accommodating to 300 persons are most versatile.
The Silversmith Parlour Car, an 1894 R. R. Coach,
restored with the original paneling, velvets, marble
and brass for cocktails and entertainment. The
Silversmith Country Store, truly an experience.
