My dear friend,
So glad to hear from you. Several weeks ago my father got out in the night and fell & fractured his hip & last Thursday, we started home. We had to get a private car to bring him, and the only way to do it was to get a private car. He is bearing up well & we hope he will improve. He is taken out of doors. He is taken up in a wheel chair a while each day now. He has his bad days. He had been sleeping good. Mother is not at all well. She worries about him, especially when he wanders. He has improved some since then. We hope he will grow stronger.
Mother regards to all. Lovingly, J.P. Allen.
