TENSLEEP, WYOMING
This is the way the Indians have written Ten-
sleep on the rocks in Tensleep Canyon. The two
hands, ten; and the teepee, sleep; the circle, the
starting point, is the Shoshoni Reservation. Tensleep,
the West Gate to the Big Horn Mountains, is sit-
uated at the mouth of the Tensleep Canyon, the
scenic wonder of the West. It is on U. S. Highway
No. 16, the shortest, most scenic and safest route
to the Yellowstone Park.
A. and F. Service Station and Princess, "side by
side," Tensleep, Wyo. The only modern Filling and
Accessory Station. Modern soda fountain and best
of Light Lunch Service.
