Description
The Hotel Sioux in Sioux Rapids, Iowa, stands proudly in brick on this sepia-toned postcard. A message reveals a frustrating repair delay and anticipation for a musical evening with friends. This charming postcard, mailed from Sandwich, Illinois, dates from approximately the 1910s.

HOTEL SIOUX

Back Text (cleaned):
Dear Cora: The delay becomes monotonous; no sign of any repairs yet. We go tonight to see friends of mine; they play. I came thus unprepared, as much of it. I feel right in this extremely queer weather. Seems as if I have hardly.
With love,
Mrs. Herbert Champlin
Sandwich, Illinois.
