A life-sized deer, meticulously crafted from 657 large Texas diamond-back rattlesnake rattles, stands in a peaceful, muted green and brown setting. This unique design, and many others created by Mrs. Albert Friedrich, are showcased at the famous Buckhorn Curio Store in San Antonio, Texas. This postcard, featuring this remarkable artwork, dates from approximately the 1940s.

Life-size deer composed of 657 large Texas diamond-back rattlesnake rattles. This design, as well as numerous others, all made of snake rattles and displayed in the Famous Buckhorn Curio Store, are all the patient and artistic work of Mrs. Albert Friedrich, wife of the founder, Albert Friedrich.
