Description
Behold the colossal Marion Model 270 steam shovel, the world’s largest, dominating the Pittsburg, Kansas coal mine landscape. Its powerful black form contrasts sharply against the bright blue sky and fluffy white clouds. This striking Curteich-Chicago postcard, likely from the 1960s, captures the industrial might of the Ellsworth-Klaner Construction Co.
