Description
This vintage postcard shows a dramatic scene: a red lifeboat braving waves near a pier and rollercoaster at Long Beach, California. The muted colors of the teal water and sandy beach create a nostalgic atmosphere. This postcard from the 1910s depicts a moment from a Californian winter escape, likely connected to the Panama-Pacific Exposition in San Francisco.

We have been here. We will stay two weeks more. Then expect to go down to San Diego for awhile. We are seeing a lot & having a good winter so far & escaping Wisconsin cold. It has been much milder here than we expected. I have a fire most of the time. It is pleasant. Good share I like summer. Hope you & Aunt are all well and Lovingly.
