Laurel is ideally situated in a beautiful sec-
tion of southern Mississippi. Attractive homes
and gardens place the city in a class by itself.
There is a municipal airport, a municipal
swimming pool and the only art museum in the
state.
This is the hotel I usually
get my mail at. Arrived
here at 7:30 O.J. last night.
Door came in the dark but
the roads were very good &
wide and well marked so
I didn’t mind it one bit. I
was detained in Jackson until
5:00 O.J. as Mott Leggins
gave me a good idea; we had
a photographer had the
blackened flowers planted
to show for advertising purposes. He gave
me a real nice bite & I tell you
his idea is very good. The
material in New Orleans was
nice & I’m to be just as
interested in the factory.
