Dear Laura,
Leipzig, Berlin, Dresden.
Sept. 14,
We got home all right, but the cars were just crowded. I would have written before, but have been awfully busy. I have canned a crate of tomatoes, 10 quarts of pears, and 9 of plums; had 8 glasses of plum jelly, and made a batch of chili sauce, besides a big washing and ironing all last week. It's snowing. I have washed every day. I hope this will find you feeling good. Where are you? Shall we look for you? Love always. Are you coming? We will write soon.
Mrs. Ferra
Fly back.
