HOBBS—Gateway to the land of opportunity,
is located in the S. E. corner of New Mexico,
on the East-West Highway and is a short
drive from the famous Carlsbad Caverns.
Within a 100 mile radius of Hobbs lies the
largest oil producing territory in the world—
more than all other fields in the U. S. put to-
gether. Abundant water is easily obtained
and the land is very fertile and cheap. Pay-
rolls from Oil Industry alone are over
$3,500,000.00 annually, while sheep and cattle
raising is also carried on to a vast extent.
