Description
A bird’s-eye view shows a small town spread beneath low hills, with houses, trees, streets, and railroad tracks visible. A tall brick water tower marked “GEM” dominates the foreground near the center of the scene. The caption on the front identifies the view as Herkimer, N.Y. The card appears to be from the early 1900s, undated.
