Description
A colorized elevated view looks west along Monroe Avenue in downtown Grand Rapids. Tall commercial buildings line both sides of the street, with striped awnings over storefronts and many early automobiles below. An American flag flies above the block near a landscaped traffic island in the foreground. The scene appears to be from the 1920s.
