Dear Folks,

Got here Tuesday morning. It is
very hot, 104°. It has been that
way for over a week and for no
rain, but the nights are very
comfortable to sleep in. I am enjoying
it very much so far. I am well and
am engaging every minute of it. Mr. & Mrs. H.G. Barnard
So far Dallas is a big city. My nephew lives 6 miles from
the business district, so nothing to see. We spent today taking
in the town, even though it is hot, but there is no humidity
and your clothes do not stick
to your body, so can't complain. It is interesting
to go inside and down the streets.
Taking in all the big stores.
The streets are crowded most
every day with shoppers.
Traffic is very heavy. C.J. Donner
