Platte Avenue is a beautiful boulevard, the main thoroughfare into Colorado Springs from the east on Highway U.S. 24. Pikes Peak seemingly towers at its western end and down its tree lined course are many beautiful vistas of the stately Avenue and the snow capped peak. Undated.
