LAKE SHORE DRIVE, Lincoln Park, Chicago. Lake Shore Drive extends south along the eastern part of Lincoln Park, parallel to the mile-long lagoon, and contains all kinds of small craft. From the entrance of the park the Drive skirts the Lake. On the left are some of the most beautiful residences of the city. On the right is a shaded bridle path beyond a gentle sloping beach with great blocks of granite as a protection from the storm waves.

Pray has paid my 50¢.
I sent her the money at once.
It is a great success—but Detroit was a loss—three to these.
