Description
Explore the bustling intersection of State and Madison Streets in Chicago, the “busiest corner in the world,” as depicted in this vibrant postcard. Horse-drawn carriages and electric streetcars share the road with a throng of pedestrians in this early 1900s scene. This Scott & Co. postcard, published by V. O. Hammon Pub. Co., is a charming glimpse into Chicago’s past circa the early 1900s.
