Lookout Mountain is 2350 feet above sea level. Two fine paved highways lead to its summit. On the plateau-like top is located the incorporated town of Lookout Mountain, – a city of beautiful homes in a magnificent setting. The point of the mountain has been made a National Park, and here is located the Battlefield Above the Clouds, Umbrella Rock, New York's $10,000 Peace Monument, and the view of famous Moccasin Bend.
