Dear Jack:
Stopped at Baker Hotel for lunch.
We are 330 miles from Portland and traveling the "Old Oregon Trail" Highway #30. We stayed in Arlington (154 mi. from Portland) last night. This is gold & placer mining & sheep raising country. The rounds are fine & everything is OK.
